Learned from mother, Margaret Leiper, Finnan, (Port Lithan & Cove), who was 93 when she died in 1919. May also have heard grandfather and other old people in Newton Hill. Grandfather was 92 when he died, the greatest singer in village of singers, said to have been able to sing the clock round.
Note at end reads 'Never heard more; none of remaining ballad given by Buchan'.
