Contributor seventy-seven years old, working as a farm labourer, living alone in a one-room bothy (he had ten children living). Learned sixty years ago from Ellen Frazer, Balintore Farm: 'He was a boy herding; lassie sang it over and over while she was milking'. Never saw in print.
