Who so dwelleth in the helpe of the mother of God, shall dwell in the shadow of her protection, &c. Cry vnto her in your daungers, and the scourge shall not come neare your tabernacle. The fruit of Grace shall bee to hym who so trusteth in her, and the gate of Paradise shall bee open to hym.

The whole earth is full of thy mercies, and therefore I will search out the way of thy iustifications. &c. I will couet for euer to praise the O Lady, when thou shalt teach me thy iustifications. &c.

They that put their trust in the O mother of God, shall not be a feard of the face of their enemy. &c.

Except our Lady shall builde the house of our hart, the buildyng thereof shall not continue. &c.

Generatio praua atq; peruersa agnosce Dominā nostram saluatricem tuam. Nunquid ipsa est mater tua quæ possidet te & in fide generauit te? i. O thou wicked and peuish generation knowledge our Ladye thy Sauiour. Is not shee the mother that hath possessed the and in fayth hath begotten thee?

In nomine tuo omne genu flectatur, cœlestium, &c. In thy name let euery knee bend, in heauen and earth and in hell.
Quemadmodum infans sine nutrice non potest viuere: ita nec sine Domina nostra posses habere salutem. i. Lyke as the infant can not lyue without the nource, so neither canst thou haue saluation without our Lady.
Quicunque vult saluus esse ante omnia opus est vt teneat de Maria firmam fidem. Quam nisi quisq; integram inuiolatamque seruauerit, absq̀ dubio in æternum peribit. i. Who so will be saued, before all thinges hee must needes holde his beliefe of our Lady, which beliefe, vnlesse euery one shall hold perfect & soūd, shall perish without doubt for euer.

Wherefore O good Mary our mediatrix mother of Grace, and mother of mercy. &c. And moreouer within few lynes it foloweth in these wordes. Therefore O our Empresse & Lady most bountifull, MarginaliaMary made a commaunder of Christ.by the authority, of a mother commaund, commaund (I say) thy welbeloued sōne that hee will stirre vp our mindes from the loue of worldely thynges, to heauenly desires: &c.
