Thomas Kettle
Sworn and examined saith that upon the night before Allhallows Day last he did lie in his father’s house in Handbridge all night and did not rise till about five or six of the clock in the morning, and saith he doth not know who cast down the stones from of the bridge, he further said that Luke Connelly lately told this examinate that he came one morning about Allhallowtide into Pritherow’s house where he found Randle Ince William Taylor and Edward Eddows drinking and that William Taylor or one of the other of the said parties did deliver unto him a quart of ale and bade him drink it or else they would pour it down his bosom, and that hereafter being informed hereunto he did drink it.
