Sworn and examined saith that since Christmas Day last past Richard Price of Denbigh this examinate’s brother did send to him this examinate and requested him to buy a butt of sack for him in Chester, and that upon his request… he did but one butt of sack of Gabriel Lee for his brother’s use, and caused the same into a [wame?] which his said brother did send to carry the same wine away: and saith further that the said Gabriel told him he must pay £16 10s for the same butt of sack, the one half to be paid in hand, and the other half at Easter next, and that he this examinate did promise to become bounden for payment of the same money, and thereupon the same wine was taken out of the same cellar and put into the same [wame?].
