Griffith Williams
Examined saith that upon Sunday night last past he was in Katherine Radley’s cellar, and that about eight of the clock the same night the former examinate and he this examinate did go thence into a cellar near the Church, and there did eat some bread and butter and onions and had drink, and that this examinate did pay 4d for them… and from thence they went into Handbridge, and there found six men dancing in Richard Haselwall’s house near the maypole, and that this examinate stood looking at the said dancers about an hour, and then went back to Katherine Radley’s to his bed.
