Joseph Bygrave of the parish of St Peter of Mancroft worsted weaver sometime in harvest last (but the exact time she knoweth not), met this informant near St Peter's church coming home from Fransham['s] cellar in the said parish of St Peter of Mancroft from washing and cleansing the rooms there about twelve a clock in the night to her lodgings in St Stephen and went with her into the Gunn Lane and in the street had the carnal knowledge of her body. And this informant further saith that Joseph Bygrave is the father of the child that she is now encient withal and no other person.
