Thomas Rigby
Saith that on the 9th of June last Thomas Harsnep of Aughton tailor and Thomas Bateson a piper drink the Duke of Monmouth's health, saying there was no other lawful king, but he the said Rigby denied the offered health, reproving them much for it and having called the constables of Formby returned with them and the said Harsnep and Bateson violently and forcibly assaulted him the said Rigby striking him to the ground, rudely kicking him so lying with their feet he the said Rigby charges the Constables to secure the said Harsnep and Bateson and more saith not.
