Informeth upon oath that upon Sunday last in the afternoon this informer coming to George Somister's house in Gorton there met with Samuel Haigh and asking the said Samuel what became of the difference betwixt Mr Birch and Mr Kenion touching some housing and ground in Gorton now in the possession of the said Samuel the said Samuel answered that Colonel Birch meaning Mr Birch of Birch Hall bid the said Samuel hold that which he had for we wait for a change we cannot have law now but we may have law hereafter.
