Who upon his oath informeth that upon Wednesday the 26th day of November last past this informer being in Bolton at the house of Thomas Chapman in company with Robert Housman, Thomas Chapman and Christopher Kemp of Bolton, this examinate refusing to drink and pay so much as they would have urged him to do they the said Robert, Thomas, and Christopher, all of them assaulted this informer and threw him down upon certain sticks and stones, and did so bruise and crush this informer that he was not able to work at his trade or follow his vocation sithence.
