Saith that upon Sunday last being the 6th day of this instant May about 12 or one of the clock there came into his house in Warrington aforesaid some young men and desired him this examinate that the might go into a loft which was in his house the which this examinate not thinking they would have stayed any longer than for the drinking of a can or two of ale suffered them to go up, and there this examinate confesseth that they were for an hour or two and there were taken by the Constables and Churchwardens of the town of Warrington; but this examinate saith he knoweth not what they were doing in the chamber so long; but as he hath heard since they were acting of a play; and further saith not.
