The informant William Weston saith that on the twenty-ninth day of May last he being at Mr Rushe's coffee house in St George Tombland parish, there was Richard Lathwright, William Tackett and Robert Aubry with him, and speaking about Alderman Norman, Robert Aubry said that if Justice Robert Cooke had been as forward to have granted a warrant as Alderman Norman was to have had it that it might have been to his ruin. And further Aubry said that all informers were rascals and further Aubry then said that Alderman Norman was an informing rascal.
The informant Edward Robins saith that since the guild as he was going in the street past Robert Aubry and another person he heard Robert Aubry say that Alderman Norman was an informing rascal and said, go and tell him the said Norman that I say so.
