Last night about five o'clock William Butler came to the house of John Lee where this Informant dwells and asked him this informant to go out with him and accordingly they went together to one Knight's near St Augustine's Gates and there were nine men when they went in and they all agreed to go to an alehouse in the market but he can't remember the name. Upon which this informant and Butler came out together and immediately Butler attempted to kiss this informant and Butler said, My dear soul, you do not love me half so well as I do you, hugging him at the same time, upon which he pushed Butler from him and told him he had never been so used by any man. And after that Butler attempted several times to kiss this informant and put his hand to this informant's breeches and they went to one Nibbs's a weaver in St George Colegate, a friend of Butler's, and there sent for a quart of beer, and there Butler took hold of this informant's hand and thrust it into his (Butler's) breeches. And in a little time they came away and just near St George's church Butler began to hug this informant again and unbuttoned two buttons of this informant's breeches and put his hand in and took hold of his private parts and said, Now we will have it off, and attempted to thrust his yard into this informant's breeches with such a motion as tended to an endeavour to enter his body as this informant thought, upon which this informant pushed him away and threatened to beat him if he meddled with him any more and they parted for that time.
