That upon the 28th day of September 1631 he this deponent for and on the behalf of the producent Mr William Beamond did tender and offer in ready money to the arlate Sir Edward Bullock at the house of one Goodwin... in the Tuesday market in the town of King's Lynn the sum of nine and twenty shillings for all tithes due from the said Mr Beamond to the said Sir Edward Bullock... for the years of our Lord 1629 and 1630 there being then and there present John Osborne, William Blackhall, and divers others which sum of 29s the said Sir Edward Bullock knight refused.
Upon the 28th day of September 1631 this deponent's precontest Thomas Punder did for and on the behalf of the producent Mr William Beamond... offer to pay to the arlate Sir Edward Bullock knight in ready money at one Goodwin's house in the Tuesday market in the town of King's Lynn the sum of 29s... money due to him the said Sir Edward... from the said Mr Beamond for the years of our lord 1629 and 1630 which said sum of money the said Sir Edward Bullock refused to accept and take.
