That the said Eleanor Taylor alias Benion in the months and years specified in the second article of the said libel or in some or one of the same months did lie in a house within the parish of Neston commonly called the beer house mentioned in the same article with Adam Johnson in one and the same bed, and the said Eleanor was there seen by some men that dwell within the City of Chester who did know her to be commonly reputed and taken within the said City of Chester for the wife of the said Thomas Taylor and did signify unto the people that then dwelt at the said house called the beer house or some of them that she was the wife of the said Thomas Taylor, then the said Eleanor being charged thereof threatened by the good man of that house for abusing him and his house she the said Eleanor [said] that she was the said Thomas Taylor's wife and desired that she might depart quietly away and she would no longer trouble the house for she would go over into Ireland.
