John Weram
Marie Hammond in the months arlate did keep a child of John Okes in the house of one Hugh Potts of Astbury parish who was father in law to Okes and the said Okes did often resort thither, and lay there nights and days together in the time arlate as he the said Okes did confess to this deponent? That within the time arlate there was a speech in Astbury parish that the arlate Okes did suspiciously haunt and frequent the company of Marie Hamond and indeed many did think and suspect he the said Okes was father of the child last brought forth.
