By reason of sickness and weakness, Paschall hath for about or near half a year together last past kept his house and not stirred abroad or very little. Before that time he was a man of very loose and profane life and conversation by frequent cursing and swearing and drinking to this deponent's knowledge, and for such like misdemeanours hath been two several times bound to his good behaviour at the Quarter Sessions within these two years last past.
Till about a year ago or little more, this deponent for a year and a half together lived in Manchester and for the most part of that time under the same roof with Paschall and during that time hath many times seen and taken notice of his often profane swearing and cursing without any cause or provocation given him by an person, and many times when he had been out late at night he would disturb those that lived near him by his unruliness and sometimes discharging his pistol so late at night.
He hath not much acquaintance with Mr Paschall but saving that one night something late he persuaded this deponent to go with him into his house to give this deponent two pennyworth of beer, and this deponent going with him he did so, and Paschall went on the backside and discharged his pistols. And this deponent at another time heard him swear such all oaths together and be very angry with some person but that was not ready to take his horse when he came home one night about 10 or 11 o clock.
