In the month of June or July last Anno Domini 1616... Henry Bunfellow speaking to William Knights that he was a drunkard, a common drunkard and an alebench haunter which words were spoken by Henry Bunfellow in the churchyward of Hasketon in the presence of this deponent and his contest John Yorke and divers others whose names this deponent doth not now remember.
Upon a Sunday happening in the month of July last Anno Domini 1616 William Knights and Henry Bunfellowe being at hot and angry speeches he the said Bunfellowe speaking to William Knights said that he was a drunkard, a common drunkard and an alebench haunter and that he would prove it, which words were spoken by Henry Bunfellow in the churchyard of the parish of Hasketon in the presence and hearing of this deponent, his precontest Henry Stephenson and divers others whose names he now remembereth not.
