Sworn and examined deposeth and saith that upon Tuesday last in the evening this examinate was in the house of John Pick and there came unto the same house one Thomas Williams now prisoner in the Northgate and his keeper Randle Thropp with him, and that he heard the said Williams speak these words following of Mr Gamull late mayor of the said City viz I will come by Mr Gamull with my hat upon my head and owe him nothing, and I will when I am at liberty go unto the king's majesty and complain for my wrong imprisonment and more saith not.
Sworn and examined deposeth and saith that upon Tuesday last past of thereabouts there came unto this examinate's house Thomas Williams mentioned in the former examination and his keeper Randle Thropp with him and that he heard the said Williams say that when he was at Liberty he cared not to burn the gown… of Mr William Gamull the late mayor and would go with him with his hat upon and owe him nothing and said Mr Gamull had done him wrong, and more saith not.
Sworn and examined deposeth and saith that upon Tuesday or Wednesday last past this examinate and Thomas Williams now prisoner in the Northgate went into the said house of John Pick and that amongst other speeches and conference then used he heard the said Williams say he would burn the gown which he received of Mr William Gamull late mayor of the said City.
