Yesternight at evening lecture at the independent meeting he sat in the seat with one Richard Skottow who when the minister was in his prayer the said Hargrave stood up and the said Skottow and also this deponent and under his hat got hold of his hand and fumbled his hand and squeezed this deponent's thigh between his own thighs, both sitting and standing, but did not imagine the meaning of it, and after they were come out of the house laid his hand upon this deponent's shoulder and after that took hold of his arm and asked him to drink with him and both went [to] the Sign of the Shears by the motion of the said Hargrave because he had drunk good beer at 3d. a quart, but there being people drinking there Skottow refused to drink there but asked him to go to a house in St Stephen whose name is Foster, where they drank three pints and paid 3d apiece for the three pints, and when they came out of the said Foster's the said Skottow asked this deponent to go into his house or shop which he did and wondered there should be no light in his shop but the said Skottow did run him into a seat and fell a-feeling of his sides and asked him if this deponent were ticklish, who answer yes, and told he could not endure to be touched in that manner, whereupon the said Skottow asked him if he were ticklish in the belly who answered yes, and kissed him several times and ran his hand into his breeches and pulled out his members forcibly and pulled them out again and several times in a [brutish?] manner and then pulled out his own and then thrusted his yard against his, and told this deponent that we cannot do one another a harm for we are both wholesome, and kept this deponent against his will about an hour and told him Go now and now, but still held him by force.
