Mary Knights
On Monday night last about twelve o'clock she with her family being getting ready to go to bed at her home in Pockthorpe, she heard the noise of a fiddle in the street and immediately a number of men pressed open this informant's door which was locked and barred and came in, about eight of them, among whom were James Moore and Samuel Moore and Robert Golder the younger who was the person who broke open the door and John Read and divers others whom she did not then know being in such a fright. And some of them put out the candle and threw a pail of water into her entry of her house and a quart of beer into her bed and broke her spinning wheel and carried a knife of this informant's of sixpence value away out of her home.
