the plantation of the said Province of Ulster, and that his Excellency
wil mediate with his Majesty for a further enlargement
of his Concessions to the late Generall Assembly concerning the
aforesaid demands, and that in the meane time such of the province
of Ulster as are in possession of any Delinquents Revenues,
estates, or lands, pretended to be taken away from them,
or their Ancestors since prime Jacobi by vertue of any Attainders
Officers, or other Acts, and by their Services to his Majesty
render themselves deserving, and meriting his Majesties favour,
shall be by his Excellency preferred before any other to the Farming
of such estate, or lands as they pretend right unto, and
shall appeare, deserving his Majesties favour, as those estates
or lands are gained from the Enemy, his Excellency will prefer
those of the said Province, to the Farming of those estates or
lands.
7. Item, it is accorded and agreed that all custodian and
Grants, made of the Lands of any of the Party of the said Generall
Neyle, or his Adherents for any matter of cause happened
since the 22. of Octob. 1641. be, and is hereby declared void of
all intents and purposes, it any such be, and that the avoydance
of all custodians be observed in the Province of ulster as in any
other Province in the Kingdome, and the profits of the Enemies
estates to be disposed to the publick service by farming such
lands.
8. Item It is accorded and agreed, that the said Generall to
Neile and those of his party shall have to all intents and purpose,
all the Advantage, Priviledges, Immunities and Indempurities,
as the rest of the Kingdome have or may have; by
vertue of the said Articles of Peace.
9. Item, It is accorded and agreed that the said Gen. Neile, and
those of his Party in the Province of vlster, shall have the nomination
of two of three, that shal be of the resident Commissioners
of trust for the Province of Ulster; provided that they be men of
fortunes, and considerable estates, in that Province, and that
the third Commissioner for the said Province, shal be one of the
Residents, to be chosen in like manner.
10 Item. It is further accorded and agreed, that all prisoners
taken on both sides, shall be released and discharged,
