Severall proceedings in Parliament, Number 2, 9th-16th October 1649 E.575[23]

Ordered, &c.
That the like Letter be written to the Lord Mayor of
London to subscribe the said Ingagement, and to cause the
same to be subscribed by the Aldermen, Recorder, and
Common councell of the said city. And that the Judges
of the Severall Courts within the Jurisdiction of the said
City, and all the Practisers, Officers, Ministers and Clerkes
in all, and every the said Courts doe subscribe the said
Ingagement.
Ordered, &c.
That the Generall, the Lieutenant of Ireland, the Lords
Commissioners for the Great Seale of England, the chiefe
Justices of the Upper-bench, and Common-pleas, and
chiefe Baron of the Exchequer, doe by, or before the first
day of January next, certifie under their hands respectively,
the subscriptions so made by, or before them close sealed
up to the Clerke of the Parliament, together with the
names of such persons as be the said Vote of Parliament
are to subscribe the said Ingagement, and shall refuse or
neglect to doe the same by that time.
Ordered, &c.
That the Lord Mayor of the City of London for the time
being, doe by or before the first day of January next, certifie
under his hand unto the Clerke of the Parliament
close sealed up the Subscriptions so made by the persons
aforesaid, together with the names of such persons as shall
refuse or neglect to doe the same by that time.
Ordered by the Parliament,
That the Generalls of the Fleet at Sea, and all Officers,
Marriners and Sea-men under them, and also the Commissioners
of the Navy, and all Officers Ministers, and others
serving in the Severall. Yards belonging to the Navy, and
likewise the Commissioners of the Customes, and all other
Officers and Ministers of the Customes in the Pork of London,
and Out-ports, do forthwith subscribe the said Ingagement.

That the Judges of the Court of Admiralty, together
with all the Officers and Clerkes belonging to the said
