either of the said Vniversities before he hath subscribed
the same.
Ordered, &c.
That all and every the Masters, Fellowes, and
Schools masters in all and every the Colledges of Eton,
Winebester and Westminster do subscribe the same Ingagement.
Ordered, &c.
That it be referred to the Councell of State to take
care and give direction that the said Ingagement be
subscribed according to the Votes aforesaid , and to
require returnes to be made to the said Councell from
the respective persons before whom such subscriptions
are to be made, as also Certificates of the name of
the persons refusing or neglecting to subscribe by such
convenient time as the said Councell shall appoint,
so as the said Councell may returne the same to the
Clerke of the Parliament at or up pon the first day of
January next.
Ordered, &c.
That no Minister be hereafter admitted to any Benefice
until he shall have subscribed the said Ingagement.
Resolved, &c.
That the Lords Commissioners of the Great Seale,
Committee to plundered Ministers, and Committees
in the severall Counties do take care that the same bee
observed accordingly.
Resolved by the Parliament, That no Minister, b[unr]ing
a Minister of the Assembly of Divines shall sit or
act as a Member of that Assembly untill he shall have
first subscribed the aforesaid Engagement before the
