Hugh Browe of Teigh and Woodhead (d. 1403)

Sir Hugh Browe of Teigh and Woodhead (1346 - 1403), a Cheshire knight and experienced soldier. He spent the greatest part of his military career in France. M.J. Bennett notes that Browe probably first served as an archer. According to Adrian Bell and Tony Moore, Browe took out letters of protection in 1380 as he intended to accompany Thomas of Woodstock on his Breton expedition.
