Hugh Hastings (d. 1396) Sir Hugh Hastings (? - 1396), kinsman of John Hastings, earl of Pembroke, whose heir presumptive he claimed to be. Hastings' participation on the expedition to Brittany is well-documented, and according to Goodman, he contracted to serve with Buckingham with a retinue of sixty men-at-arms (including himself serving as a banneret) and sixty archers.
