Marie of Berry

Daughter of John, duke of Berry. She was married to Louis of Blois in Bourges on 29 March 1386, an event witnessed by Froissart and reported by him in Book III (§ 252). This marriage remained childless. After her first husband’s death in 1391, Marie remarried Philip of Artois in 1393 and then Jean I of Bourbon in 1400. She had children from both her second and her third husband.
