Owen Glendower (d. c. 1416)

Descended from princely Welsh stock, and declaring himself Prince of Wales, he became leader of a Welsh uprising against the rule of the English king, Henry IV, in 1401. The rebellion ultimately petered out; neither the place nor the date of Glendower’s death is known.
