Jeanne, queen of Navarre (d. 1349)

Daughter of Louis X, king of France and Navarre, and his first wife, Margaret of Burgundy. She was married to Philip III, count of Évreux. When her father died in 1316, both royal titles went to her uncle Philip V and on the latter’s death in 1322 to Charles IV, the youngest brother of her father. Only on 1 April 1328 was the kingdom of Navarre assigned to Jeanne and her husband Philip.
