     Notes:
1 The appropriation of this church is indicated by the fact that it does not appear in the list of minute benefices not exceeding ten marks in value and not held in plurality, though its low value is certain: PBW1d 1 (as T 202). Appropriation was the equivalent of being held in plurality. The apparent lack of any presentations or institutions suggests that it was perhaps served by a stipendiary chaplain. The church apparently became a chapel of the church of St Mary Magdalene in Taunton (see BW.TA.TA.01, and CollinsonSomers3 183), which was appropriated to Taunton priory. It is most likely, therefore, that this church was also appropriated to Taunton priory at the time of the taxatio.
