     Notes:
1 The bishop of Salisbury presented his candidate to Teinton Regis prebend (the Salisbury prebend of which this church was part) to the bishop of Exeter (as in 1275), in accordance with an agreement of 1244: EEA12 263-4, RegBron 148, and see RegBronII 72, 81. The prebendary presented to the vicarage (as in 1320: RegStap 227), which had been ordained in 1259 (RegBron 194).
2 For the Salisbury prebend of Teinton Regis to which this church was annexed see LeNeveRev1Sal 100-1, which requires revision in the light of EEA12 261-4. The church of Yealmpton (EX.TO.PL.01) was also, from 1244, annexed to the prebend of Teinton Regis (see also RegGrand 1301). As for the church of East Allington (LeNeveRev1Sal 101), it was, it seems clear, in secular patronage: see EX.TO.WO.14.
