1 The church here was annexed to the prebend of Inkberrow in Hereford cathedral. The bishop of Hereford presented the prebendary to the bishop of Worcester for institution, as in 1294 (RegGGiff 447). However, the vicarage was, most unusually, in secular patronage: see the presentation to the vicarage by W. de Valence in 1282 and 1286: RegGGiff 152, 277.
