Ordered that it be referred to the Lords Commissioners of the great Seal to consider
how money may be raised for the repair of Malbotough bridge, which is
much decayed.
Upon many fresh bleeding complaints out of the severalll Counties of the heavy
grievance they still lye under office quarter. It was voted.
1. That it be referred to the Committee of the Army to confer with his Excellency
the Lord Gen, and his Councell of War how free Quarter, may be totally
taken off, and the people cased of that burden, and likewise to consider of the
obstructions therein, and how the former Act for this purpose may be duly put in
execution.
2. That the said Committee of the Army should report their transactions and
proceedings with the Lord Gen. and his Councell herein to the Councell of State
who are to give further order herein, as they shall think fit, for the more effectuall
prosecution of this so good, so Just, and so nessary a Work.
3. That Committee of the Army, should also treat with the Lord Gen.
to consider how Field Officers may be ready in every respective County, where any
part of the Army quarter, to the end to the just complaints of the country people
against the Souidlery may be redressed the without putting them to that intollerable
charge and trouble of comming up to make their addresses at London.

AN Act read and assented to to make Sergeant Bradshaw Lord President
of the Councell of State, Attorney Generall for the Country of Chester Flint,
Denbigh &c.
An Act read for putting execution former Acts and Instructions for the sale
of Deans and Chapters Lands, and removing some obstructions.
The house ordered Mrs. Farrer whose husband was slain in the Parliaments service
five hundred pound, part of his arrears to be payd by the Committee at Habardashers
Hall.
The House Ordered 800l. per annum to be paid out of the Revenue, to some
hundreds of poore Labourers which heretofore wrought in Scotland Yard in
the late Kings service, untill the summe of 40001. due arrear to them be fully
paid.
The House past an Order for letting the Earl of Buckinghams House at Chelsey
unto two Gentlemen for 21 years paying a certein rent.
Fifteen hundred pounds lent by Sir Tho: Liddle for the service of the Garrison of
Newcastle was allowed, and ordered to be repaid,
Bristol July 21. Sir, Our stay here hath bin longer then we expected, which occasions
many to give out, that we intend to lye still and spend the Nations Treasure,
and never advance for the relief of Ireland, especially since the Tredagh and Dundalk
is delivered, and a close siege or storm intended speedily against Dublin. I assure
