AN Act to transferre the Sallaries of the Judges,
and others for the use of the Navy.
Whereas the Commons of England assembled in
Parliament, upon consideration had of the great
pains of the Commissioners of the great Scale, the Judges
of the upper bench (then called the Kings Bench) and
Common Pleas, and Barons of the Colfe of the Exchequer,
and by the three Judges of the Admiralty,
did by their respective Ordinance of 28 of March,
1647, 17 April, the 2 of Octob. and 19 of Decemb.
1648. charged upon the receipts of the Customes
the summe of 17500. l. Annum. for payment of
severall sallaries unto the said Judges at severall daies
and termes of the yeare, as by the said Ordinances
more at Large appeareth; and whereas the said Commons assembled in Parliament in respect of
the great and pressing necessities of the Navie in these times of action, have on the 19 of Janu.
last past ordered; That the payment of the yearly sallaries to the respective Commissioners, Judges,
