with the Dominion of Ireland.
From the 25. of January, to the 25. of February.
1649
Some Halters quick from England send;
For if you'l take our words;
The Wars are new so neer an end,
wee'l need them more then Swords.
Off Teig with Clothes by Taylor made,
and put on Trousses straight;
For to run well, which was your Trade,
will now become your Fate.
No proofs (by June) you'l need to bring,
your Footmanship to tell;
For those which do out live the Spring,
we need not doubt run well.
Then to run well be it your strife,
'tis the best thing you can do;
For in that act which saves your life,
you'l get preserment too.
AS my last was in the Presse the Guinny Friggot
arrived safe at cork in a Throug of
Stormes, her concerne doubtlesse was her
Protection, for the was fraught with so
many thousand of the States Liveries, that its beleeved,
those who are the cause of their being worne,
