PRAGMATICVS.
Communicating Intelligence from all Parts,
touching all Affaires, Designes, Humours and
Conditions throughout the Kingdome.
Especially from Westminster, and the Head-Quarters.
From Tuesday Aprill, 3. to Tuesday April, 10. 1649.
O London wher's thy happy dayes,
A[unr]ho thy Streets, with Gold
Are p[unr]d yet wher's thy Franshizos,
That have been long inrold.
Whose Tyrany is now made knowne,
Or who have thee deprav'd,
And have thy freedomes allove-throwns,
And thee have quite inslav'd,
What can th' Parliament have the face,
Their brethren so t' abuse,
As t' take from them both Sword and Maes,
And a new Mayor to chuse.
Yes, yes they're Saints and cannot orro,
In any thing they doe,
For their great Father Lucifer,
Doth give them leave there to ---

OH! doe but observe the condition, of this now dispicable & odious
(the once famous) City,and you shall finde it verified, that Rebellion
is scourged by Rebellion, and the greater Traytors doe punish the
lesser, thus the vengeance of the Almighty, is now coming upon the first
Rebells, the C-whose ruines are threatened, and they in danger to
