From near Bright Helmeston, in Sussex, January. 17.
LAst week a Barque laden from Dartmouth,
with Chests of sugar and
Train-Olye, to the value of about
600.l. came into Bright Helmeston
Read. The vessel belonging to that
place, her men came all ashore, and
there continued all night; which gave
oportunity to two ill-disposed persons
of that Town to get into the Barque, which they seized,
hoised sailes, and made away either for France or Holland.
From Plymouth, of the same date, we are certified, that
there is arived 2 Malaga-Merchants, laden with sacks and
Fruit, and there came along with them other Malaga Ships
into the Channel, and two more that came from the Canaries.
