From Mylor in Cornwall, June 8.
HEre comes News (how true I know
not) that the French in St Christephers
have murther'd all the English;
and how that a Fleet of Flemings had
sunk two, fired two, and put to flight
two of our Frigats bound with Ammunition
and provisions after our
grand Fleet; but I much question the
truth of ei[unr]her of these Intelligences.
But what is certain is this, That a Fleming of 300 Tonns
is brought into Helford near Falmouth Here are in our
harbor 3 ships from the Canaries, whereof two belong to
London. One from Malaga of 300 Tonns; laden with
Wine, F[unr]t, and Silks, that hath bin out 16 months. These
came in hither 3. days since.
Yesterday between [unr] 5, and 6 in the [unr] came in
