From Dublin, June. 13.
THere was this morning good service performed
at Nedham. Fort in the County of
Kerry, again O Sullinane's and Lieut. Col.
Brien's party who came close to the said
Fort about Breake of day, in the absence
of Captain Barrington, with a design to
undoe his Quarters; which they thought without question
to compass, being in number 3 or 400, men. But those
horse which we had prepared to charge them, came up to
them as they were near the Furnace on the Lands of Dunkierane,
where the Enemy were ready to entertain them,
and (in appearance) sour times so many more, And therfore
they had a great advantage, being so numerous as they
were, and put into such a Posture to fight, having before
possessed themselves of a few Cowes which they took near
the Fort; but it pleased the Lord to give courage to out
