COl. Morgan marching from Aberdeen
with 14 Companies
of Foot, and 8 Troops of
Horse and Dragoons towards
the Enemy, Glencairn
and Kenmore the same day
went out of Murryland towards
the Hills, they burnt all the Lord Eothans
land (the Lord Brodies Uncle) because he kept
his house out against them in the late infall into
the Earl of Athols quarters at Dunkel: there
was kill'd one Capt. Robertson, one Capt Hunter,
(a young Laird who attended Athol) the Laird of
