Prince Radzivil being pardoned by the King of Poland, is
safely arived here: he relates that the said King and the Prince
Elector conferred for a sennight together very privately;
thereupon his Majesty went to Posen: it is thought, that
the said Prince Elector is to mediate between Poland and
Sweden, next new year is that happy peace looked for. We
are certified, that the alliance between Sweden and the said
Prince Elector holds still, and they are not to act in any way
of hostility one against the other. Prince Adolphus hath solemnised
a memorial of the Victory of Fredericks Ode at Elbing
the Austrian Forces have left Thoren, and are gone to winter
quarters, the Polanders complain heavily against them,
because they had done no service for them, but domineered in
their Country.

The Swedish demolish the out works about Fredericks Ode,
pulling down also the houses thereabout, to reduce that Fort
into a narrow compass, and to make it the more impregnable
the King of Denmark and the Controller of the Court are here
giving out orders; whereby we hope to keep the Swedish from
making progress.
From the Bishoprick of Bremen, Nov. 22.
Colonell Eggerick Governor in Verden, levieth Horse and
Foot, giving in hand to each Trooper 50 Rixdollars, 40. to a
Dragoon, and 10. to a Foot soldier; Men flock unto him for
service. The Swedish have demolished the Treuden feuter-Sconce,
and leveld it to a Ditch. In Westphalia Soldiers are
disbanded, which the Swedish receive into their Service, and
they march through this Land, going toward Wismar. Some
Officers that were in the Danish service, are gone to the Swedish
Party.
