Westminster, May 27:
ACcording to the order of adjournment, the Commissioners
of the High-Court of Justice met this day again
in the Painted Chamber, and intended to have proceeded
to the Triall of Doctor Hewet, and Mr Mordant
both the same day; but Mr Mordant being faln so ill of
an Impostumation in his Throat, and a Fever, that he was unfit to be
brought to the Bar, the Court thought fit to adjourne it self till Tuesday
next being the first of June.
Whitehall, May 28.
General Mountague departed hence; and went down to Chatham,
to see to the Affairs of this Summers fleet, with which he is shortly to
put forth to Sea.
