IT is written from West Flanders, that the English in
Dunkirk and Mardike made divers Volleys of shot for
joy, for the victory which the Parliament hath had
against the Royalists. The English ships which crossed
the Sea-coasts of Flanders, made also many shot for
joy of that victory.
It is further certified, that the Spanish and French Troops
had drawn together about Newport and Ferme, upon what
design they were, is smelt out, but they missed their
aim.
