WE have little of News here, beside the
enclosed Letters, which were intercepted
by the Governor of Ruthen
Castle going to the Enemy.

Sir having, occasion, I could not but tender my respects,
with my earnest desire to wait upon your Excellenice; for,
truly we may say, if it please the Lord we meet, that we
have past the Pikes, for, every Body gives us for lost, and
consequently few are friends.

pressing him that he may keep his assurance to me, which
