THings are here (God be blessed) in
so good quiet and composure, that
we have little to mention relating
to the publick. We hear not yet
in what Country Middleton is landed,
but its generall beleeved he is
gon to Colen to his young Master:
Duffra hath now agreed to come
in, and give security for his peaceable submission and demeanor.
The Fines imposed on the Scotish Gentry are a paying
daily; but hard shifts are said to be made for the money,
having spent so much formerly in carrying on the warr.
