I Long since advised you, that his Majestie
of Spain, had given command to the Curigidore,
or chief Justice of that place,
to Imbargue all Englishmens estates,
which was by him effected the II of the
last moneth, who also did confine us all to
our houses, on penalty of 500 Duckets
since which, severall persons demanding their liberty by
Petition, he hath not been pleased to give them any, but by
word of Mouth, and not by Writing, as accustomary, whereby
