YEsterday, after the afternoon Sermon, there
happned in this City especially, and some
few miles about, as dreadfull a storm of
Thunder, Lightning, and Haile, as ever
I have known in old England, or new, and
some old of about 80 years of age, say, they
never saw the like, for about five or six a
clock in the Evening it was as dark as if
it had been ten or eleven at night. The Hailstones that fell
were many of them as big as Pigeons Eggs, which brake the
