From Thursday July 18. to Thursday, July 25. 1650.
ABout a moneth hence (I believe) the high-flown
mistakers of the Scotch opinion, and I, shall
shake hands, and be Friends: For, as long as I
saw no Action elsewhere, I could not chuse but
take notice of their Drumming, Trumpeting,
and giving Fire in the Pulpit; so that I was
fain to make my self a Fool in print, to represent them in their
Foolery. But all is well now: one Rout takes down their Metall,
and then the word Commonwealth will relish as well as a
Kingdom, go down like Marmelade and Monarchy; and all
will be as well as can be, According to the Covenant.

IN the mean time, They may do well to pen an Epistle of
brotherly Admonition to their Fellow-Labourers in Lancashire;
who (as say Letters thence) stand in extream need
