We are waiting upon the providence of God, to see what
he will offer to us: Our eyes are upwards.
There King is lately (as we hear) gone rewards Aberdeen.
Many of the Nothern Levy's run back as fast as they
are brought.
There hath been a little clashing between the Town and
Souldiers, at Aberdeen; and they have scattered a Regiment
of Foot that Quartered thereabouts.
They are laying up six weeks provision of Oates, and other
accommodations for their Army, in the Stores at Sterlin;
The Commission of the Kirk hath received Hamilton, and
in the same breath, so shew their fidelitie to Royalty, they
are about to silence Mr. James Guthry, an honest Minister.
Col. Monk is gone to beleagure. Timtallon Castle, and Col.
Serby's Regiment goes with him.

From Weenen, the 28. of January. 1651.
The old Empress Leonora, with most of the Nobility are preparing
themselves to go towards the Frontiers of the Venetians
dominion, and there meet the Imperial Bride. The
Emperor hath given order for the reparing and furnishing
of his Palace at Prague; wherefore it is supposed, that shortly
after his marriage, he intends to go for Bohemia.
From Hamburgh. The 28. of January.
We are advised from Stockholm, that the Earl Magnus de
la Guarde is made by the Qeen great Marshal of the Crown
of Sweden; and was to go Ambassador for Weenen, and to
bestow the Government of Pomeren upon the General Wittenberge
in the place of Wranghel, who sent is for to come
for Sweden.
From Genoa, the 29. of January.
The last letters from Catalonia advise us, that the Marquis
of Mortaro, having divided his soldiers to take their quarters
upon he borders, is gone by Lerida towards Saragoss; having
left the command of the Army in his absense, to the
Marquiss of Borry, don Bolthasar de Royas, formerly Governor
