THe Commons passed Instructions for the Anti-dating
of Writs, in the Courts of the Severall
Benches, of the Courts at Westminster, that so
there may be no obstructions in proceedings at
Law, and to warrant what hath been done before
the Writs were sealed. And the Writs to
have the Testy at present, as they were in the
late Kings life.
A Copy of the new Oath given to the Judges
by order of the Commons in Parliament Assembled.
YOu shall well and truly swear to serve the common
wealth in the office of a Justice of the common
Pleas, According to the best of your skill and
knowledge, so help you God.
The like also is given to the Judges of the Kings Bench, and of the Exchequer,
respective titles altered.
